Alexandrite Recruitment Ltd in Kent is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join the workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will operate CNC milling machines and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have CNC milling experience, Mazak/Mazatrol is a plus, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and independently within a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines in engineering/manufacturing.
• CNC setting experience is a plus but not essential.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture components per works orders, drawings and schedules.
• Load and unload components and materials.
• Select and load appropriate tooling as required.
• Monitor machines and identify machining or quality issues.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments where required.
• Check components against drawings and tolerances.
• Record completed work and production information.
• Report machining issues and delays to Workshop Manager.
• Support machine changeovers and setups where possible.
• Maintain CNC machines through routine checks and maintenance.
• Follow quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
