Job summary

Alexandrite Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Milling) for their Kent-based client. The role is full-time and permanent, located in Biggin Hill, with standard hours and a competitive annual salary.

The successful candidate will have CNC milling experience in an engineering/manufacturing setting, with Mazak/Mazatrol experience preferred but not essential. Attention to detail and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment to check components.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture components per works orders and drawings.
• Load/unload components and materials; select tooling as required.
• Monitor machines and identify machining or quality issues.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments and dimensional inspection.
• Record work and production information accurately; report issues to Workshop Manager.
• Support machine changeovers and setups where experienced; perform routine maintenance.
• Follow quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
