Alexandrite Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Milling) for their Kent-based client. The role is full-time and permanent, located in Biggin Hill, with standard hours and a competitive annual salary.
The successful candidate will have CNC milling experience in an engineering/manufacturing setting, with Mazak/Mazatrol experience preferred but not essential. Attention to detail and ability to read drawings are essential.

20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, plus an additional 3-4 days over the Christmas period.
After 5 years of continuous service, holiday entitlement increases by 2 days, followed by an additional day for every further year worked, up to a maximum additional entitlement of 5 days.
Our Kent-based client is a specialist manufacturer of commercial and industrial burners, supplying complete combustion solutions ranging from equipment for existing boiler systems through to bespoke solutions for new buildings and industrial power-generation applications.
Due to continued workload, they are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join their workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience operating CNC milling machines within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Previous CNC setting experience would be advantageous but is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operator looking to further develop their CNC machining skills.
Mazak / Mazatrol experience would also be beneficial, although candidates with experience operating other CNC milling machines and controls will be considered.
Quality is at the core of the company's operation, so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate good attention to detail, an understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to consistently produce components to the required specifications.
