Job summary

Blue Recruitment Personnel Limited in Brentwood seeks an experienced CNC Machinist Miller to set, operate and maintain Mazak CNC milling machines, delivering high-precision aerospace/defence components to EN9100 standards.

This full-time, day-shift role offers £15 to £20 per hour with overtime at time and a half. You will read drawings, use precision measuring tools, and work to very tight tolerances within a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled CNC setter/operator with milling experience.
• Experience on horizontal and/or vertical Mazak machines.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Able to work to very fine tolerances.
• Detail-oriented; high safety standards.
• Able to follow written instructions.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work on Mazak CNC horizontal and vertical machining centres.
• Produce accurate components to specification.
• Check own work against required standards; tight tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment.
• Maintain CNC machines and tooling; keep area clean.
• Follow EN9100 quality standards at all times.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; work with team as needed.
