Job summary

Haich Recruitment is recruiting an experienced CNC Miller / Setter / Operator for a Manchester-based precision engineering business. You will set and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exacting specifications.

Training is available for candidates from other multi-axis backgrounds, but this is not a basic operator role. The role requires independent work to high engineering standards, reading drawings, making tooling and offset adjustments, and carrying out

• Training available for candidates from other multi-axis backgrounds, not limited to Mazak.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines
• Edit and adjust programs at the machine
• Prove out programs and new jobs
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Make tooling and offset adjustments
• Carry out dimensional and quality checks
• Troubleshoot machining issues
• Work independently to engineering standards
