Job summary

Rheinmetall Weapon Munitions UK Limited in Telford is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator – Milling for a new, clean, temperature controlled and modern production site. You will prepare, set-up and operate CNC milling machines (including 5-axis) across a 3-shift operation, producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC-Operator on milling technology.
• Ability to read and understand specifications, technical drawings and work instructions.
• Competent in using jigs and fixtures.
• Competent in using hand tools and equipment.
• Competent in use of measuring equipment for worker self checks.
• Understanding and application of quality control within the production line.
• Motivated and disciplined with strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set-up and operate CNC milling machines (including 5-axis) in a 3-shift operation.
• Machine high-quality components for large calibre weapons systems to tight tolerances.
• Produce according to SAP production orders and instructions.
• Check and measure finished components against specifications and test plans.
• Report production metrics through the factory data collection system.
• Select correct tools for tasks according to SWI and input for process improvements.
• Support maintenance to fix equipment issues and drive continuous improvement.
