Job summary

CWM Engineering Ltd, a family-owned manufacturer based in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter / Operator. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce components to customer drawings and specifications, machining materials from aluminium to Inconel while upholding quality, accuracy and Health & Safety.

• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and producing accurate production records.

• Resolve machine setup or operating issues to maintain production flow.

CWM Engineering Ltd is a family-owned manufacturing business based in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire. We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join our growing team.

You will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components to customer drawings and specifications. The work involves machining a range of materials, from aluminium to Inconel, while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health and safety.

Responsibilities include setting and operating CNC milling machines independently; reading and interpreting engineering drawings; carrying out in-process quality checks using standard measuring equipment; resolving machine setup and operating issues; completing routine machine maintenance such as coolant and oil changes; and maintaining accurate production records.
