Job summary

HRGO is assisting a precision engineering company in recruiting CNC Millers (Setter/Operators) to manufacture high quality components on multi-axis milling machines in a modern, clean environment.

You should have at least 2 years’ CNC milling experience and be confident setting and running jobs, programming offsets, and performing basic inspection checks. This is a permanent role with premium overtime available across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC milling experience or apprenticeship equivalent.
• Setting and running jobs, programming offsets (controls training available).
• Basic inspection checks to ensure tolerances are met.

Job description

We’re recruiting CNC Millers (Setter/Operators) to join an exceptional and expanding precision engineering company. Working with leading multi-axis milling machines in a pristine, modern environment, you’ll manufacture a wide range of high-quality components from a variety of metals. The business supports technically demanding sectors including Medical, Aerospace, Military and F1.

You’ll ideally have experience producing complex milled parts to tight tolerances on multi-axis mills/machining centres. You should be confident setting and running jobs, programming offsets (cross-training on controls available), and completing basic inspection checks.

You’ll need at least 2 years’ CNC milling experience, although training is available for ambitious, driven machinists looking to develop. Salary is dependent on experience, with premium-rate overtime readily available.
