Job summary

Guided Talent Ltd in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. You will set and operate CNC milling machines, read engineering drawings and manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.

The role offers hourly pay of £16.00-£19.00, a continental shift pattern with two day/night shifts and 8 consecutive days off after each four-week cycle, plus long-term opportunities to develop CNC skills within an established

Qualifications

• Previous experience as CNC Miller, CNC Setter Operator or CNC Machinist.
• Strong experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to close tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Producing components to drawings and specifications.
• Selecting tooling and workholding.
• Carrying out tool changes and adjustments.
• Checking finished components with measuring equipment.
• Maintaining high quality and tight tolerances.
