Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Poole seeks a CNC Miller Setter Operator for double-day shifts. You will set and run Mazak or Fanuc controlled mills to produce precision components and meet production targets.

The role offers training and career progression, with a basic salary of £41,725.00 (incl. shift allowance), overtime after 37 hours, and benefits including holiday, pension and health plan.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have completed an apprenticeship or gained equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is required.

Responsibilities

• Set to the set-up sheets and amend as required.
• Prove out proven/unproven programs.
• Conduct first off inspections and feedback tickets for set/run times.
• Maintain production targets and lean principles; complete OEE data sheets.

CNC Miller Setter Operator Double Days - Based Poole

IMMEDIATE START!

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global engineering company where you will receive additional training and career progression.

Basic salary £41,725.00 includes shift allowance, plus paid overtime after 37 hours, 33 days holiday with an option to buy five extra days, matched contributory pension scheme, health cash plan, PPE provided.

Double Days shift pattern is as follows: -

Early Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.15pm and Friday 6am to 2pm

Late Shift Monday to Thursday 2:15pm to 10:15pm and Friday 12pm to 7:30pm

2 weeks rotation shift

The ideal CNC Miller Setter Operator will have completed an apprenticeship or gained equivalent practical experience, with a proven ability to set and operate CNC milling machines using Mazak or Fanuc controls.

You will be a skilled machinist able to produce high-quality components within specified drawing tolerances and production efficiency targets.
