Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a CNC Setter Operator Nights in Poole. You will join a rapidly expanding global engineering company, setting and operating CNC Milling or Mill/Turn machines using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls, with a Sunday to Thursday night shift.

Role requires apprenticeship or equivalent experience, ability to meet deadlines with high-quality output, and strong attention to detail. Overtime is paid after 37 hours and benefits include holiday and pension options.

Qualifikationen

• Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience in machining.
• Ability to set and operate CNC Milling or Mill/Turn machines using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.
• Produce high-quality components within drawing tolerances and production targets.

Aufgaben

• Select tooling and holding devices from tool sheets.
• Set up to the set-up sheets and amend as required.
• Prove out proven/unproven programs.
• Carry out first-off inspections and complete feedback tickets for set and run times.
• Maintain production targets and lean principles; complete OEE data sheets.
• Ensure tooling and gauging are maintained to high quality; uphold lean principles.
• Liaise with production engineers to support productivity.
• Work independently and as part of a team with a proactive approach.
• Produce components to drawing tolerances within specified quality and industry sectors.
• Follow health and safety processes and procedures.

CNC Setter Operator Nights - Based Poole

IMMEDIATE START!

Sunday to Thursday - 10.15am to 6am

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global engineering company where you will receive additional training and career progression.

Basic salary £48,680 includes shift allowance, plus paid overtime after 37 hours, 33 days holiday with an option to buy five extra days, matched contributory pension scheme, health cash plan, PPE provided.

The ideal CNC Setter Operator will have completed an apprenticeship or gained equivalent practical experience, with a proven ability to set and operate CNC Milling OR Mill/Turn machines using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.

You will be a skilled machinist able to produce high-quality components within specified drawing tolerances and production efficiency targets.

• Maintain production targets, maintain lean principles, and complete OEE data sheets.
• Ensure all tooling and gauging is maintained to a high quality and maintain lean principles.
• Liaising with production engineers to ensure productivity.
• Able to work individually as well as part a team and be highly motivated.
• Ability to produce components to drawing tolerances within the quality specification within the various industries sectors.
• Work to health and safety processes and procedures.
