Job summary

McGeoch Technology Ltd. in Birmingham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter to join our production team. The successful candidate will set and operate 1–3 axis CNC milling machines, predominantly on stainless steels and nonferrous metals, ensuring parts meet drawing tolerances.

duties include reading drawings with GD&T, maintaining tooling procedures, and supporting TPM/PPM activities. Experience with Fanuc or Mazak controls is essential; 37 hours per week with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in setting and running CNC machines.

McGeoch Technology Ltd. is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to our current growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of a CNC Miller Setter. The successful applicant will be based at our production facility in Birmingham city centre.

The Role

As part of a larger strategy to increase our productivity across the business, we are looking to add a skilled and flexible machinist to our team, who's role will be to support the incumbent CNC team with all aspects of their daily tasks as required. Responsible for setting & operating 1, 2 or 3 Axis CNC milling machines at a time, predominately working with Stainless Steels and nonferrous metals.

• A flexible and 'can do' attitude

Desired Skills
