Job summary

Hariley Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, program and run CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to drawings, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, with ideally additional Lathe or Milling machine exposure, and you will work with engineering to implement CAD-driven modifications, maintain records and ensure safety throughout the shop

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
• Experience with lathe or milling machines.
• Background producing CNC machined components to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components.
• Set up tooling, fixtures and workpieces for optimal machining.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to interpret CAD designs.
• Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment.
• Maintain production records and report discrepancies.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CNC MILLING

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to produce components according to specifications and drawings.
• Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal machining performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret CAD designs and implement necessary modifications.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

Skills & Experience:

• 2 years+ previous experience Programming, Setting and Operating
• Ideally experienced with Lathe or Milling Machines
• Background producing CNC machined components to a high standards
