Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting a CNC Miller (Programmer / Setter / Operator) in Lincoln, LN5. The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce wear parts and tooling.

You will program on Fanuc controls, read engineering drawings, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 07:30-16:30, with benefits including 25 days holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling experience as programmer/setter/operator.
• Fanuc programming experience is essential.
• VMC experience preferred; strong Fanuc skills acceptable.

Location: Lincoln (LN5)

Pay: £15.00-£18.50 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 40 hours / week | Mon-Fri 07:30-16:30

Gi Group are recruiting for a CNC Miller (Programmer / Setter / Operator) in Lincoln, LN5. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of CNC Milling machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines (VMC)


• Program on Fanuc controls (essential)


• Read and work from engineering drawings/specifications


• Manufacture wear parts such as screens, hammers, holders, knives/counter knives, flails, anvils, wear plates, concaves and other heavy-duty components


• Maintain quality and safe working practices

Essential Skills / Experience

• Proven CNC milling experience as a programmer/setter/operator


• Fanuc programming experience (must-have)


• VMC experience preferred (will consider any CNC Miller if Fanuc programming is strong)
