Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Chard, Somerset. The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high precision components on 3-, 4- and 5-axis centres.

You will read engineering drawings, edit CNC programs, and perform first-off and in-process inspections. Overtime and ongoing training support career progression in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Simens controls.
• Experience machining precision components within industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas or similar.
• Ability to read technical engineering drawings confidently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
