Job summary

TipTopJob, based in Chard, Somerset, is seeking an experienced Miller to program, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components to customer specifications.

You will work on 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining centres, edit and optimise CNC programs, read engineering drawings and carry out first-off and in-process inspections, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality. Overtime offered with ongoing training and a company pension in place.

Qualifications

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls.
• Experience machining precision components within industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas or similar.
• Ability to read technical engineering drawings confidently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
