Job summary

WF Tech in Atherstone is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our precision machining team. This permanent role offers a 4 Days On, 4 Days Off pattern and a competitive hourly rate, with work on modern CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components.

You will program, set and operate CNC mills, interpret engineering drawings, select tooling and parameters, and perform first-off inspections to ensure strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of Heidenhain or Siemens controls (experience with both is advantageous).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a variety of materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Producing precision-engineered components from engineering drawings.
• Editing and optimising CNC programmes where required.
• Working with Heidenhain and Siemens control systems.
• Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and cutting parameters.

• Maintaining tight tolerances and high standards of workmanship.

Shift Pattern: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off (7:30am ? 6:00pm)
Salary: £17.00 ? £21.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
