AMA Admin in Warrington is recruiting a CNC Miller to join a growing engineering and manufacturing company that designs high-quality bespoke machinery. The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components, reading drawings, and ensuring tight tolerances are met.

You will work from technical documentation, perform quality inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement within the machine shop.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machine setup procedures.

Responsabilités

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Load, edit and run CNC programmes to meet engineering specifications.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Carry out quality inspections and dimensional checks on finished parts.
• Produce jigs and fixtures to support machining operations.
• Perform tool changes and tool offset adjustments as required.
• Monitor machine performance and respond to alarms.
• Complete routine machine maintenance checks and maintain records.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organised and safe.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the machine shop.
