Job summary

Red King Resourcing is recruiting an experienced CNC Miller / Setter Operator for a precision engineering environment in Romford, Essex. You will set up and run 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills to produce aerospace and defence components to tight tolerances.

You should read drawings, set tools and offsets, and work with Fanuc controls while maintaining quality and on-time delivery in a clean, professional shop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller/Setter Operator in high-precision environments.
• Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Work with 4-axis and 5-axis machining centres with multi-datum setups.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to meet requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and repeatability.
• Inspect components and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.
