Job summary

Trident Recruitment Ltd in Romford is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering team. You will set and run CNC machining centres, including 4- and 5-axis work on Matsuura, Mori Seiki and Haas machines, ensuring first-off parts meet exacting tolerances.

The role offers day or night shifts, a contributory pension, healthcare, life cover and a company parking facility, with additional benefits and early Friday finish.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines in precision engineering.
• Aerospace manufacturing background with strong accuracy and quality.
• Confident with Fanuc controls and 4- and 5-axis processes.

Responsibilities

• Setting machines accurately and efficiently to achieve a correct first-off component.
• Managing complex offsets and multiple datum positions across 4 and 5-axis machining work.
• Working from engineering drawings and maintaining demanding quality standards.
• Monitoring machining performance, identifying faults and resolving setting or operating issues.
