OneandNine Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to join a precision engineering business in Oxfordshire. You will set and operate 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines on complex components, ensuring tight tolerances and quality.

You'll read engineering drawings, use CMM inspection techniques, and contribute to continuous improvement while working to ISO9001 standards. A competitive package includes £40,000 plus benefits.

I am currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to join a growing precision engineering business supplying highly regulated and technically demanding industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller (Setter) looking to work on complex components using modern multi-axis machining technology within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

The Role

A successful CNC Miller (Setter) will be responsible for setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances and supporting inspection activities when required.

• Work from engineering drawings and route cards.
• Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Work to ISO9001 quality standards.
• Contribute to maintaining efficient production flow.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller (Setter) within a precision engineering environment.
• Multi-axis milling experience.
• Understanding of CMM and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
