CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Sittingbourne

Salary: Up to £18 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role:

Our Client is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Setter (Milling) to join their modern engineering facility in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing business with consistent workload, structured processes, and regular overtime available.

Working within a high‑volume, precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines while ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency across production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC milling machines
• Work with 3‑axis and 5‑axis machinery
• Load programs, set up jobs and run production efficiently
• Follow structured processes to maintain consistent quality standards
• Monitor production output and ensure components meet specifications
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You:

• Strong Manufacturing/Production Background
• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens (Desirable)
• Practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow structured procedures
• Team player with a consistent and conscientious work ethic
