Overview

CNC Setter (Milling) – Sittingbourne. Permanent, full-time role. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week). Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines
• Work with 3-axis and 5-axis machinery
• Load programs, set up jobs and run production efficiently
• Follow structured processes to maintain consistent quality standards
• Monitor production output and ensure components meet specifications
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter within a milling environment
• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow structured procedures
• Team player with a consistent and conscientious work ethic
