Job summary

Interaction Technical in Rugby, Warwickshire, is seeking a skilled CNC Miller with Fanuc controls experience to join their precision engineering team. You will set and operate 4-axis DMU milling machinery to produce components for diverse industries, working from detailed drawings and tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate 4-axis DMU milling machinery using Fanuc controls to produce precise components.
• Produce small and large batches of components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce components from various materials.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Job role: CNC Miller & Setter

Salary: £35,000-£39,000 (£16-£19 per hour) + overtime @ 1.33x

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Hours: 7:45-16:45 Monday to Thursday / 7:30-12:30 on Fridays

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role

• Set and operate 4 axis DMU milling machinery using Fanuc controls to produce precise components for a variety of industries.
• Produce small and large batches of precise components working to extremely tight tolerances to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce components using a variety of materials efficiently and effectively.
• Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The Requirements

• Previous experience using Fanuc controls (essential)
• Proven ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings (essential)
• Previous experience using multi-axis Starrag mills (advantageous)
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Willingness to train and progress
