Job summary

AMF Recruitment Ltd represents a client on the Euroway Estate, Bradford, seeking an experienced CNC Miller for a permanent role.

The successful candidate will program, set and operate HAAS, DMG, Doosan, Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain machinery, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings. Hours are 7am–3pm, with potential rotation; salary up to £33k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Programming, setting, operating and optimising CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Experience in a busy manufacturing environment to support targets, quality standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and run CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, samples and sketches and ensure first-off, stage and final inspections.
• Complete production and inspection paperwork and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain machinery and housekeeping standards and support planning and production teams to improve methods.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

CNC MILLER

EUROWAY TRADING ESTATE, BRADFORD

PERMANENT

DAYS 7am to 3pm

Our client, based on the Euroway Estate, off the M606, Bradford, is a small manufacturer and they need an experienced CNC Miller to join their friendly team.

Key Duties

The successful CNC Miller will be responsible for programming, setting, operating and optimising CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will play an important role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and continuous improvement objectives are achieved.

You will work with a range of machinery and controls including:

• HAAS


• DMG


• Doosan


• Mazak


• Fanuc


• Siemens


• Heidenhain


• Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards


• Working from engineering drawings, samples and sketches


• Carrying out first-off, stage and final inspections


• Completing relevant production and inspection paperwork


• Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives


• Working closely with planning and production teams to improve manufacturing methods


• Maintaining machinery and ensuring excellent housekeeping standards


• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

At first the working hours are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, but may go to a rotating shift.

For this you will have a salary of up to £33k and a raft of other benefits.
