Oscar & Harvey Limited in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator. The role covers CNC Milling and Turning on Haas machinery with Fanuc/Siemens control familiarity. You will programme, set and run precision components to detailed drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller and/or CNC Turner.
• Strong programming, setting and operating experience.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls.
• Experience with Haas machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Solid understanding of X, Y and Z axes.
• Ability to work independently and in a skilled team.

Responsibilities

An established engineering business in Huddersfield is looking for an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Turner, or multi-skilled CNC professional to join its team on a permanent basis.

About the Company

Our client specialises in subcontract CNC machining, serving customers across a wide range of industries.

The company manufactures precision-machined components in both large and small quantities, with a focus on quality and quick turnaround.

The experienced engineering team also works with CAD/CAM software for offline programming, producing components from detailed drawings and specifications, reverse engineering existing parts and undertaking repair and restoration work to extend their service life.

The Role

The successful CNC professional will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

The role will involve working with Haas machinery, with experience of Fanuc and Siemens controls highly desirable.

The company is looking for someone with solid practical CNC experience who can work confidently and independently, with a strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming.

The Package

• £18.00 per hour
• Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am–1:15pm
