Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a CNC Miller for a client near the South Elmsall area, West Yorkshire. You will produce precision components on CNC milling machines and read drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires experience on multi-axis machines, CNC programming knowledge (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain), and a willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including mornings and evenings.

CNC MILLER

We are recruiting for a CNC Miller to work for our client who are located near to the South Elmsall area, West Yorkshire. You will be producing precision components using CNC machine tools

THE DUTIES OF A CNC MILLER:

• Set and operate CNC Milling Machines.
• Read engineering drawings
• Quality check finished products using measuring tools ; Callipers/ micrometres
• Load machine with raw materials and set up choosing programmes and tooling

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Experience working on multi-axis machines
• Knowledge or experience on manual machines / lathe / pressbrake / surface grinding
• Knowledge of CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain)
• Experience working in aerospace, automotive, or high-precision industries.
• Availability to work a rotating shift schedule including mornings and evenings.

THE HOURS:

You will work a weekly rotating shift pattern

Week 1 - Days 6am – 2pm

Week 2 - Afters 2pm – 10pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £16.50 per an hour depending on experience
