Job summary

Hardi & Co Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to operate and set CNC milling machines on a busy manufacturing site in the YO62 area. You will produce precision components to engineering drawings with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Initial 6 months: £16-£18 per hour, Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:30pm, with training and integration into the business. After 6 months, choose Day shift or Night shift with generous shift allowances (£35 or £50).

• Proven experience as CNC Miller in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in machining.
• Reliable team player with good communication.

Machines: Fanuc, Daytron & Mazak

Pay: £17.92 per hour + shift allowance after 6 months

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy manufacturing environment in the YO26 area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and maintaining a high standard of accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

First 6 Months

• Monday to Thursday
• 7:00am - 5:30pm
• £16-£18 per hour
• Training and integration into the business

After 6 Months

Following the initial 6-month period, you will move onto one of the following shift patterns:

• Option 1 - 4 on / 4 off Days
  • Day shift
  • £17.92 per hour
  • £35 shift allowance
• Option 2 - Monday to Thursday Nights
  • Night shift
  • £17.92 per hour
  • £50 shift allowance

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller
• Experience with CNC milling machinery
• Ideally experienced with Fanuc, Daytron and/or Mazak controls
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Good understanding of machining tolerances
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
