Job summary

CNC Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator (Level 2) to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Poole. You will set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls to manufacture precision components to customer drawings and specifications, and carry out first-off and in-process inspection of your own work.

The role requires a completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, proven CNC experience, aerospace sector exposure, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator.
• Strong working knowledge of FANUC control systems.
• Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathes using FANUC control systems.

Salary: 17.00 - 18.00 per hour plus 1.3x night shift enhancement

CNC Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator (Level 2) to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist to join a well-established business, producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The Role

As a CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes using FANUC control systems to manufacture precision turned components to customer drawings and specifications. You will also be responsible for inspecting your own work to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
