Job summary

Billy Associates LTD in Poole, UK, is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join its engineering team. You will set and run CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce components to customer drawings, with a strong emphasis on aerospace manufacturing.

The role requires solid experience with FANUC controls, and preferably familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar feed systems. Day shift pay is £17.50–£18.00 per hour; night shift £17.00–£18.00 per hour with a 30% uplift (£22.10–£23.40

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines to customer drawings/specifications.
• Solid experience using FANUC controls.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.

CNC Mill/Turn Setter Operator

A well-established engineering business is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join its team. The role involves setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce high-quality components to customer drawings and specifications, with a strong focus on aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC controls.
• Produce components accurately to customer drawings and specifications.
• Carry out inspection of own work in line with drawing and SPC requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of engineering quality and workmanship.
• Maintain the working area to 5C/5S standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator with strong engineering ability.
• Solid experience using FANUC controls.
• Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
• Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feed is advantageous.

Location & Pay

Location: Poole, UK

Day Shift: £17.50–£18.00 per hour

Night Shift: £17.00–£18.00 per hour + 30% night uplift (£22.10–£23.40 effective hourly rate)
