Job summary

First Base Employment is recruiting for a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator in Poole, Dorset. You will join a precision engineering environment and work with FANUC controls to program, set up and operate CNC mill/turn machinery, producing complex precision components to exacting specifications.

The role requires experience reading engineering drawings, editing CNC programmes online and offline, and performing in-process inspections while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of FANUC controls.
• Experience with CNC programming, setting and operating.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Edgecam programming experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feed systems would be beneficial

The Role

First Base Employment is currently recruiting for a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a precision engineering environment based in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully skilled CNC Machinist with experience programming, setting and operating CNC mill/turn machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing complex precision components, working with FANUC controls and ensuring all work is completed to demanding engineering specifications.
