Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency in Poole is seeking a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer or Setter/Operator for precision aerospace components. The role covers setting, programming (offline/online), and turning parts to drawing specifications using FANUC controls.

Applicants should have a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship, proven CNC Mill/Turn experience, and knowledge of FANUC. Edgecam is a plus, Nakamura familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls.
• Strong working knowledge of FANUC controls.
• Solid experience in the aerospace industry.
• Edgecam programming experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls.
• Programming CNC Mill/Turn lathes offline and online (Programmer/Setter/Operator role).
• Producing turned components accurately to customer drawings and specifications.
• Inspecting your own work against drawing and SPC requirements.
• Keeping your work area to a high 5C/5S standard.

CNC Mill Turn | Poole | up to £23.40ph

Earn up to £23.40 per hour working on Mill/Turn lathes producing precision turned components for the aerospace sector. Whether you're a CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator or a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator, your skills will be genuinely relied on here. Accuracy matters, and you'll take ownership of every part, from set-up to sign-off.
