Matchtech is seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their Poole facility. You will program, set and run CNC Mill/Turn machines with FANUC controls, producing precision aerospace, maritime and automotive components to drawing specifications.

The role offers a competitive salary (£44,434 p.a.), 39-hour week, flexi-time, and 25 days holiday, with overtime paid at time and a half; a long-term opportunity with a respected engineering employer.

Formación

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and precision engineering.
• Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment.
• FANUC control experience is essential.
• Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable.
• Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feeders would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Positive team player with a commitment to quality.

Responsabilidades

Our client, a leading precision engineering business supplying the aerospace, maritime and automotive sectors, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their growing team in Poole.

The Role

• Program, set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC controls

Working Hours

• Core hours (must be worked): Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
• Flexible start time between 7:00am and 8:00am
• Flexible finish time between 4:00pm and 5:00pm
• Friday opening hours: 8:00am to 12:00pm (where required to complete weekly hours)
• Flexi-time available around core working hours
