Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment has a Poole-based CNC Mill/Turn role offering up to £23.40 per hour for skilled setters, operators and programmers. You will work on Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls, delivering precision components for the aerospace sector.

The role requires a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship and proven experience in CNC milling/turning with offline and online programming. Edgecam experience is a plus; Nakamura knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes and programming for Programmer/Setter/Operator role.
• Strong working knowledge of FANUC controls.
• Solid experience in the aerospace industry.
• Edgecam programming experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls.
• Programming CNC Mill/Turn lathes offline and online (Programmer/Setter/Operator role).
• Producing turned components accurately to customer drawings and specifications.
• Inspecting your own work against drawing and SPC requirements.
• Keeping your work area to a high 5C/5S standard.

CNC Mill Turn Poole up to £23.40ph

Earn up to £23.40 per hour working on Mill/Turn lathes producing precision turned components for the aerospace sector.
