Syntech Recruitment are proud to support a leading precision engineering and manufacturing business in their search for an experienced CNC Turning Team Leader. You will lead a team of CNC Turners, Manual Machinists and Apprentices, ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved while remaining actively involved in the machining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a CNC machining team.
• Strong CNC turning background with programming, setting and operating experience.
• Good knowledge of Mazatrol controls and ISO programming.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of CNC Turners, Manual Machinists and Apprentices.
• Coordinate daily production priorities to achieve quality and delivery targets.
• Monitor KPIs including productivity, machine utilisation and scrap.
• Provide technical support with CNC programming, setting and operations.
• Support process optimisation, tooling selection and fixture improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
