Pertemps Crawley Perms in the North Chichester area is seeking a Team Leader to oversee our Pre-Paint Manufacturing area. You will lead, coach and inspire a team across machining, cutting and manual preparation to ensure on-time production.

This role focuses on driving engagement, maintaining quality standards, and upholding safety while collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep a smooth workflow. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and ability to coach a team.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and CNC/manual operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team, assign daily work and coach staff.
• Direct the workflow from machining to manual preparation for timely Paint Department readiness.
• Ensure work meets drawings and specifications; drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Maintenance, Engineering and Paint in daily operations.
