We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner for a precision engineering company based in Prestwick. The ideal candidate will be a time-served professional with experience in programming and operating a variety of CNC machines, working to tight tolerances, and understanding geometric symbols. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to extract accurate data is essential.

Position Overview

• Operate manual and CNC machinery to manufacture components according to customer drawings.
• Use inspection equipment to ensure compliance with specified sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes.
• Program Fanuc-controlled machines.

Requirements

• Time-served CNC Turner with recent experience in CNC machining.
• Experience in programming and operating CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc programming language.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Rate up to £24 per hour (including shift allowance).
• 37 hours per week with rotating shifts:
• Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm (breaks paid), Friday 6am - 11am (break paid).
• Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm (breaks paid), Friday 11am - 4pm (break paid).
• Shifts rotate following a training period on day shift.
• Enhanced pay including a 33% shift premium.
• 33 days holiday per year.
• Monday - Friday work schedule with early finish on Fridays.
