Up to £43,000, Monday to Friday Days, Holidays, Pension, Bonus

Have you worked in precision manufacturing or similar environments?

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Sliding Head CNC Machinist for our client in Crewkerne, Somerset. Our client is a highly successful business experiencing significant growth, which is why they need a Senior Machinist to join the team.

The Role: You will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming sliding head CNC machines to produce components and parts for the company's products. Responsibilities include:
  • Set and operate a number of CNC Sliding Head Machines
  • Product Parts contained within the job cards
  • Following engineering drawings and adhering to tolerances
  • Ensuring quality of all parts produced is up to company and industry standards

About you:
  • You will need proven experience setting, operating and programming Citizen Sliding Head Machines or other Sliding Head Machines
  • Programming experience, offline or online
  • Ability to adhere to run times, set multiple machines within the require tolerances
