Job summary

Safran Aerospace Wolverhampton is seeking skilled Machinists for its central machining team. You will work with 4 and 5 axis CNC machinery to set up, operate, and inspect complex aerospace components, aiming for high production quality and efficiency.

The role involves 3 shifts (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) across a three-week cycle, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and skill development within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• The Machinists operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machines in a large machining centre.
• Set up, operate and perform basic programming / offset manipulation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to introduce new equipment and parts into the area.
• Follow process layouts, work instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect complex aerospace components.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and perform simple programming/offset adjustments.
• Support continuous improvements and lean initiatives within the cell.
