Job summary

Optima UK INC Ltd in North Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering team. You will set up and run 4- and 5-axis milling machines, reading detailed drawings and maintaining tight tolerances while upholding safety standards.

This full-time, permanent role involves 40 hours per week with rotating shifts. You will machine Titanium, Inconel and hardened steel, contribute to continuous improvement, and work in a modern facility focused on quality and

Qualifications

Set and operate 4 or 5 axis CNC milling machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience in aerospace/precision engineering environments.
Apprentice trained or industry-equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

Set and operate 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines to produce aerospace components.
Machine materials including Titanium, Inconel and Hardened Steel.
Read and work from detailed drawings and specifications.
Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
Carry out in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
Meet production targets while maintaining right-first-time quality.
Follow Health & Safety procedures and 5S standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean working environment.
