Job summary

Wild Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Fareham. This contract role covers CNC turning and milling with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.

The position runs until July 2027 with overtime opportunities and a modern manufacturing environment. Immediate starts are available for suitable applicants with background in aerospace or related precision engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience turning or milling with CNC.
• Fanuc experience preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Background in aerospace/defence, motorsport, oil & gas or precision engineering considered.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes or mills with Fanuc controls.
• Edit programs at the machine.
• Produce complex precision components to tight tolerances.
• Read engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Use micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment.
• Complete quality and production documentation.
• Work to AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.

CNC Turner / CNC Miller - Aerospace Manufacturing | Contract Until July 2027

£18.72 - £22.37 per hour + Overtime Available

Wild Recruitment is recruiting experienced CNC Machinists for a leading aerospace manufacturer.

We're looking for skilled CNC Turners and CNC Millers with Fanuc experience to join a busy production team manufacturing high-precision aerospace components.

This is a long-term contract opportunity running until July 2027, offering excellent rates, modern facilities and the chance to work on complex precision-engineered parts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Setting and operating CNC Lathes or Mills with Fanuc controls
• Editing programs at the machine
• Producing complex precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading engineering drawings and process specifications
• Using micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment
• Completing quality and production documentation
• Working to AS9100 and aerospace quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC Turning or CNC Milling experience
• Fanuc control experience preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Programming, setting and operating experience advantageousBackgrounds in aerospace, defence, motorsport, oil & gas or precision engineering considered
