Job summary

Accept Recruitment are recruiting a CNC Machinist to join a Birmingham-area client. The role covers programming, setting and operating CNC machines, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has proven CNC experience, familiarity with Heidenhain controls, and holds a Full UK driving licence. The position is based in Dudley/Birmingham with a standard 40-hour week and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CNC machinist role with programming, setting and operating.
• Experience on Heidenhain controls.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC machines to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality checks and tool changes when required.

Due to continued growth and a number of new contract wins and continued workload they are looking to recruit for an experienced CNC Machinist - Programmer / Setter / Operator in Birmingham.

Ideally you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role and multi disciplined to work on multiple industries
• Experience working on Heidenhain
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Dudley based or within a reasonable commutable distance
