Job summary

Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for a day shift in Coalville. You will program, set up and operate CNC milling machines, prioritising milling with occasional turning. Experience with Fanuc/Siemens controls and online programming is essential.

You will work on small-batch components, using aluminum and stainless steel, with a supportive team and flexible hours including overtime at time-and-a-half. 40-hour week with generous holiday entitlement and health cover.

CNC Machinist

We are working in partnership with an engineering business with a strong reputation within their market. As a CNC Machinist, you will primarily be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of milling machines (with some occasional turning, but milling is the priority). The business typically manufactures smaller batches of components using mostly aluminum and stainless steel.

Preferably you will come from a CNC milling background and be comfortable programming and using Fanuc / Siemens controlled machines. CNC programming is done online.

Salary

£18.50 to £20.00 per hour as a guide.

Hours

40 hour week with flexible start / finish time. 32 days holiday including banks which rises by an additional day each year up to 36 days. Optional overtime available at x1.5 hourly rate. Additional bonuses paid. Health and well being cover.

The CNC Machinist job would suit:

• An experienced CNC Machinist who is skilled at online programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for a range of projects.

• Comfortable using Fanuc and / or Siemens controls. We can be flexible for the right person who is willing to learn.

• Preferably from a CNC milling background.

The CNC Machinist job will involve:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to machine a range of smaller batches of components.

• Fanuc / Siemens programming, primarily working with CNC milling machines initially.

• Machines used are both 3 axis and 5 axis.

• Working from a range of engineering drawings, occasionally communicating with the customers on projects too.
