Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team. You will program, set and operate CNC machining centres and carry out manual milling/turning where required.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing, ability to read drawings, and a strong eye for detail are essential; the PM Production Supervisor oversees progression in a modern, supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Manual machining experience using conventional mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Perform machine set-ups, tool changes and basic machine maintenance.

CNC Machinist Setter/Operator

Salary: £27,851 - £34,278 per annum (DOE) + 15% Shift Allowance

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist Setter/Operator with conventional machining experience to join their growing precision engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established manufacturer producing high-quality precision components within a modern and supportive production environment.

The Role

As a CNC Machinist Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for producing precision‑engineered metal components to tight tolerances. Working within the production team, you'll programme, set and operate CNC machining centres while also carrying out conventional machining duties where required.

You'll report directly to the PM Production Supervisor and work alongside an experienced team committed to delivering quality products.

Working Hours

PM Shift (37.5 hours per week)

• Monday to Wednesday: 1:30pm - 11:30pm
• Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm
