Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operative for our client site in DN8. The role involves drilling, tapping and turning aluminium parts, preparing finished components for despatch and maintaining quality to meet the Golden Sample.

The position offers a temp-to-perm contract with shifts including days, afternoons and nights, starting pay from £12.71 per hour. Training will be provided and adherence to health and safety standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Drill, tap and turn aluminium parts.
• Prepare and pack finished parts for despatch.
• Identify and report any quality deviations or issues.
• Meet production KPIs and schedules for the shift.
• Maintain clean and safe working area in line with H&S requirements.
• Ensure machinery and tools are used safely and kept in designated areas.
• Support Team Leader and wider team to achieve targets.

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting for CNC Machine Operatives to join our client based in DN8.

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Shifts: Days, Afters and Nights

Job Description

• Drilling, tapping and turning aluminium parts.
• Preparing and packing finished parts ready for despatch.
• Identifying any product quality issues or deviations from product specifications.
• Meeting production schedule targets and all relevant KPIs for the role and department.
• Ensuring your working area is maintained to a satisfactory standard and complies with Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensuring all equipment remains in its designated area.
• Reporting any incorrect or inappropriate activity to the Team Leader or a member of the SMT.
• Being aware of your Health & Safety responsibilities and those of others.
• Working closely with the Team Leader and wider team.
• Finishing products to a high-quality standard and ensuring they meet the Golden Sample.
• Checking visual aids before completing each process.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient use and control of machinery, tooling and equipment.
• Supporting the team in meeting production targets and departmental KPIs.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the Team Leader.
