Job summary

Trinity Industrial is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cradley Heath. You will operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently while upholding quality, safety and productivity standards.

You will work on an alternating early and late shift pattern (Early: 06:00-14:00, Late: 13:45-21:45) with some Friday variations, and you will perform startup/ shutdown checks, production tasks, and data collection to support continuous improvement and TPM practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable CNC machining and/or machine operating experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality, safety and production standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Forklift truck licence required.
• Crane operation experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily start-up and closure checklists, ensuring Health & Safety and 5S requirements are met.
• Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties.
• Control and monitor machine settings to maximise output in line with standard requirements.
• Complete hourly machine data collection, recording part-count achievement and lost-time reasons.
• Support hour-by-hour and day-by-day production plan adjustments.
• Support tool changeovers and ensure quality and efficiency standards are maintained.
• Participate in 5S workshops and workplace audits.
• Carry out daily cleaning and first-level maintenance (TPM) of machinery.
• Operate forklift trucks and cranes as required, subject to appropriate training/licensing.
• Support other business requirements as required.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.

Working Hours

Early Shift

• Monday-Thursday: 06:00-14:00
• Friday: 06:00-11:00

Late Shift

• Monday-Thursday: 13:45-21:45
• Friday: 10:45-15:45

The role operates on an alternating early and late shift pattern.
