Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator for our Rugby facility. The role requires hands-on work on 5-axis milling machines, with leadership potential to progress into management. You will optimise milling processes, run the milling section, and collaborate with the shop floor manager.

CAD programming is supported by training as needed. We offer a salary of £39,500 to £41,500 (DOE), 40 hours per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and opportunities for

• Set & operate up to 5-axis milling machines on large components.
• Edit or write programmes using G-code controls.
• Experience with large component manufacturing.
• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute.
• CAD experience is a benefit.
• Experience with process optimisation.

CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Salary: £39500 - £41500/hr DOE

Rugby CV22 - Full Time Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who has leadership experience or is looking to take that next step. This is working with a well-established engineering company that covers a huge variety of sectors, working on large components in small batches.

This is a hands on role where you will still be running 5 axis milling machines, but also optimising processes, running the milling section, CAD programming (training can be provided) and working closely with the shop floor manager.

To be considered

• You must be able to set & operate up to 5 axis milling machines
• Edit or write programmes using G code based controls
• Experience working with large components
• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute
• Previous CAD experience is a benefit
• Experience with process optimisation
