Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is helping a well-established engineering company in Rugby recruit an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator. You will run 5-axis mills, edit or write G-code programs and help optimise processes for large components.

The role offers £39,500–£41,500 DOE, overtime enhancements, 40 hours per week, 25 days holiday + BH and training opportunities, with a hands-on leadership element and close collaboration with the shop floor manager.

Qualifications

• Set and operate up to 5 axis milling machines.
• Edit or write programmes using G code based controls.
• Experience working with large components.
• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute.
• Previous CAD experience is a benefit.
• Experience with process optimisation.

CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Salary: £39500 - £41500/hr DOE

Rugby CV22 - Full Time Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who has leadership experience or is looking to take that next step. This is working with a well-established engineering company that covers a huge variety of sectors, working on large components in small batches.

This is a hands on role where you will still be running 5 axis milling machines, but also optimising processes, running the milling section, CAD programming (training can be provided) and working closely with the shop floor manager.

To be considered

• You must be able to set & operate up to 5 axis milling machines
• Edit or write programmes using G code based controls
• Experience working with large components
• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute
• Previous CAD experience is a benefit
• Experience with process optimisation
