Job summary

People Solutions are seeking a Workshop Machine Operative to join our client in Ashton, Wigan. You will operate CNC machinery, beam saws and routers, and follow technical drawings to manufacture bespoke products to specification.

This full‑time role offers £13.50 per hour with overtime at 1.5x, free on‑site parking, immediate starts and the potential to secure a permanent position within a busy, growing workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Immediate start availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate beam saws safely and efficiently.
• Operate CNC machinery in accordance with drawings.
• Follow technical drawings and work instructions.
• Operate routers.
• Manufacture bespoke products to specification.
• Carry out general workshop duties and keep a clean, safe environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
