Job summary

People Solutions is seeking a CNC Saw Operator for our client in Glasgow, G51. You will learn to set and operate CNC saw machinery, read drawings, and produce components to tight tolerances with full in-house training.

The role offers £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday daytime hours, weekly pay, and long-term ongoing work, with opportunities to develop CNC skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience.
• Good numeracy and accurate measuring skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Reliable and punctual approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop CNC machining skills.
• Ability to reliably travel to Glasgow G51 for an 08:00 start.

Responsibilities

• Learning to set and operate CNC saw machinery.
• Operating CNC machinery safely and accurately.
• Using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Reading and following technical and engineering drawings.
• Producing components to required measurements and tolerances.
• Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Keeping CNC machinery, tools and work areas clean and well maintained.
• Working with the production team to achieve daily targets.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
